Combine oyster sauce, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, and white pepper

Slice the beef into thin slices, around a inch in length

Use half the marinade and mix with the beef. Mix in the cornstarch with the marinated beef.

Slowly add water with the beef till its full absorbed. This will keep the beef from getting dry. Then add vegetable oil to beef.

Start by sauteing the garlic in a pan till fragrant on medium heat. Then add mushrooms and cook down till they're soft and cooked through. Add the shanghai tips and cook for 1 min. Set cooked vegetables aside

On medium high heat cook onions till they've browned, around 5 min. Then add marinated beef to the same pan and cook for 2 minutes on each side.

When beef is mostly cooked combine the rest of the marinade with the beef and onions. Add in the shaoxing wine.
